FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Because of the sleek and thin design of the R2L, you can place it right on top of the case or beneath it. However, a battery charging phone case cannot be used with the R2L.

You can figure out the placement of the R2L for your phone with these simple instructions:

1-Turn your WiFi off on your mobile device.

2-Stream a video from the YouTube App or website.

3-Turn the phone around and place the R2L on the back, without taking the adhesive off.

4-Move the R2L around until the LED lights up the most.

5-Remove the adhesive and place the R2L where the Led lit up the most.

  • The R2L does not affect call quality. The R2L absorbs the excess radiation through the antenna of the R2L and converts it through the circuitry into direct current electricity into the LED to light it up and disperse the power safely.

  • The R2L works on any wireless device that uses cellular, 3G and 4G service to connect to the internet.

The light not lighting up means one of the following has occurred:

-99% of time the light not lighting up is attributed to the R2L being in the wrong position.

-You are too close to a cell phone tower.

-Your Wi-Fi is not shut off.  The R2L only works on the cellular signal not on Wi-Fi signal.

  • No.  When the R2L is properly placed, it always lights up, but sometimes flashes so fast or faint that it is impossible to see with the naked eye.  Every R2L is tested four times on U.S. and international bands before it leaves the manufacturer.

  • The FCC has adopted limits for safe exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy. These limits are given in terms of a unit referred to as the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), which is a measure of the amount of radio frequency energy absorbed by the body when using a mobile phone. The FCC requires cell phone manufacturers to ensure that their phones comply with these objective limits for safe exposure.

  • The light should be on when radiation is being absorbed.

  • The light blinks when the R2L is absorbing excess radiation through the antenna and then converting it through the circuitry into direct current electricity into the LED to light it up and disperse the power safely.

  • The R2L device will last for the life-span of your phone. The average time people have their cell phones is about 18-24 months. You will never have to replace your R2L as long as you have your phone. However, the R2L cannot be re-used once the adhesive is sealed on your phone.

  • The R2L cannot be re-used once the adhesive is sealed on your phone.

  • The R2L works on any wireless device that uses cellular, 3G and 4G service to connect to the internet. This device will work on your smart-phone, tablet, ebook reader and laptop.  Only one R2L is needed for these devices.  Laptop computers, tablets or ebook readers only use the cellular network to communicate when the Wi-Fi is off or not available.  Because of this, they typically only use the cellular network when on the move.  Unlike cell phones, they only use one antenna so only one R2L is needed because they seldom use the cellular network.  The R2L will not light up as often with these devices as with a cell phone.

  • If the R2L does not light up, the placement might be wrong on the mobile device.  Refer to question #2 for proper placement.
